Meet Cindy

BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA

Cindy Foresman (she/her) is a bilingual birth and postpartum doula originally from Mexico who supports families in both English and Spanish. She brings a calm, grounded presence to every space she enters and is known for her deep listening, warmth, and steady reassurance. Cindy believes that every family deserves to feel informed, respected, and truly supported throughout their fertility, birth, and postpartum journey.

From a young age, Cindy was fascinated by pregnancy and birth. What began as childhood curiosity grew into a heartfelt calling to walk alongside families during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. She is currently working toward her certification as a Maternal Support Practitioner (Fertility, Birth, and Postpartum Birthworker), continuing to expand her knowledge so she can offer holistic, well-rounded care.

Cindy holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, which shapes her appreciation for evidence-based information and the incredible science of the human body. Her professional background also includes working as an au pair for a wonderful family in Nashville—an experience she is deeply grateful for, as it helped her fall even more in love with newborn care. She also spent over a year supporting a family from the time their baby was just five weeks old. What began as overnight newborn care naturally evolved into daytime care as she supported the baby's growth, developmental milestones, and the family's changing needs. This experience deepened her understanding of infant development and postpartum support, and ultimately strengthened her passion for accompanying families through the early stages of parenthood.

Alongside her scientific background, Cindy's personal spiritual journey and commitment to self-growth allow her to approach birth and postpartum with empathy, presence, and compassion. She deeply values honoring each family's beliefs, culture, and unique vision for their experience.

Outside of birth work, Cindy loves creating YouTube videos and recording podcasts in Spanish, where she reflects on life, personal growth, and whatever is on her heart. She also enjoys creative hobbies like embroidery and sewing, spending time with her husband and their Australian Shepherd, Auggie, continuing to learn, and nurturing spaces where others feel safe to be themselves. She feels deeply honored to support families as they welcome new life and navigate the beautiful transformation into parenthood. and empathetic approach establish her as a trusted ally for families welcoming new life.

Nanny and Au Pair experience

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with our postpartum doulas, Brayta and Courtney.

The majority of our time was spent with our overnight doula, Brayta. She was a godsend—literally the reason I’ve made it through motherhood. This was our first child, and Brayta helped support me through long nights, frustrating nursing sessions, milk spills, all of it. Her patience and kindness were truly a blessing. She not only supported my journey as a mother but also took wonderful care of our baby.
