Meet Ellie
BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA
Ellie (she/her) has been around babies for as long as she can remember. As the oldest girl of six children, she was often the built in baby sitter, cook, house cleaner, and guide. She has always loved to help those in need, and once she found out what a doula was, she quickly decided to take the next step to become a certified birth and postpartum doula.
In her doula work, Ellie focuses on creating intentional connections and lasting relationships with parents so that they can feel supported and confident during a vulnerable time of change in their lives. Her approach is evidence based, focused on empathy and consent, and rooted in the belief that every person deserves to feel safe and heard. She focuses on educating parents so that they are prepared for pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum, and they can make choices that they are confident in and proud of.
Ellie has experience working with multiples, single parents, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as disabled parents, babies, and siblings. She has been at unmedicated and medicated births, and has worked postpartum shifts during both the day and night.
She finds doula work very fulfilling and has enjoyed helping growing families over the past three years. Ellie’s favorite parts of the job are watching parents build trust and faith in their decisions, and seeing all of the teeny tiny baby smiles! She enjoys providing quality doula care to those in all walks of life, and hopes that in doing so, she can help to create a better world for future generations.
In her free time, Ellie enjoys reading / listening to an insane amount of books, crocheting, snuggling with her dog, exploring Nashville, and spending time in nature during the cooler months.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with our postpartum doulas, Brayta and Courtney.
The majority of our time was spent with our overnight doula, Brayta. She was a godsend—literally the reason I’ve made it through motherhood. This was our first child, and Brayta helped support me through long nights, frustrating nursing sessions, milk spills, all of it. Her patience and kindness were truly a blessing. She not only supported my journey as a mother but also took wonderful care of our baby.
