Meet Jillian

POSTPARTUM DOULA

Jillian (she/her) is a Nashville native. Since she was a teenager, she has been fascinated by birth and the postpartum period. During her undergraduate degree she volunteered at Erlanger Baroness Hospital (Chattanooga, TN) on the Labor and Delivery unit, where she fell in love with supporting birthing people.

After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, she attended a birth doula training through DONA International and later became a certified postpartum doula through ProDoula. She then began working full-time as both a postpartum and birth doula. With over 3 years’ experience she has supported many families in both the birth and postpartum setting. Jillian also graduated from Vanderbilt School of Nursing and is now a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

When Jillian is not working you can find her going for runs with her aussiedoodle named Kane, playing pickleball with her friends, traveling, or trying a new coffee shop.
