Meet Joi

BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA

Joi Rodgers (she/her) is a dedicated birth and postpartum doula with nearly six years of experience supporting families through one of life’s most transformative journeys. She received her professional training through Homeland Heart Birth and Wellness, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, compassionate, and family-centered care.

She is trained in both birth and postpartum support, allowing her to walk alongside families from pregnancy through the early weeks after birth. Her approach is calm, nurturing, and intuitive, while also being deeply rooted in education and advocacy. She believes every birthing person deserves to feel informed, empowered, and supported in their choices—whether birth looks like an unmedicated delivery, a medicated birth, or a cesarean.

During labor and birth, Joi provide continuous emotional support, physical comfort measures, and reassurance, helping families feel grounded and confident. In the postpartum period, she supports recovery, newborn care, emotional adjustment, and the overall well-being of the family as they settle into their new rhythm.

Joi finds it an honor to hold space for families during such a sacred time, and she is deeply passionate about creating a supportive, respectful, and empowering experience for every client she serves.

Mother to one

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with our postpartum doulas, Brayta and Courtney.

The majority of our time was spent with our overnight doula, Brayta. She was a godsend—literally the reason I’ve made it through motherhood. This was our first child, and Brayta helped support me through long nights, frustrating nursing sessions, milk spills, all of it. Her patience and kindness were truly a blessing. She not only supported my journey as a mother but also took wonderful care of our baby.
