Meet Kristen

BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA

Kristen (she/her) brings calm, clarity, and confidence to the birthing space. With a background in movement science, a grounded presence, and a passion for nurturing others, she supports clients with care that’s rooted in both evidence and intuition.

Originally from outside of Philadelphia, Kristen holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State and completed her Birth and Postpartum Doula training through the Harbor Birth Institute. Her decade-long career as an Exercise Physiologist and Pre/Postnatal Performance Specialist makes her especially skilled at supporting the physical demands of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.

Kristen has coached a wide range of clients—from professional dancers to cardiac rehab patients—and is known for her intuitive, encouraging style. A former competitive Irish dancer, she brings a deep understanding of rhythm, breathwork, and resilience to every birth she attends. She also teaches dance and fitness locally and loves creating community through movement, food, and storytelling.

Her Birth Philosophy:

Kristen doesn’t believe there’s one “right” way to give birth. Instead, she helps clients tune into their vision—whether that means a home birth, an epidural, or something in between. Her role is to provide continuous, personalized support so each person feels informed, empowered, and deeply supported throughout their experience.

It takes a special kind of person to walk alongside & care for somebody that they don’t really know in the most exciting but vulnerable 10 months of your life.

“As a first-time mom, I had so many hopes and dreams for my pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Thanks to Kristen, I got all of that and more. It takes a special kind of person to walk alongside and care for somebody that they don’t really know in the most exciting but vulnerable 10 months of your life. Because of the information, knowledge, and prep work Kristen had for me, I was able to have an unmedicated 12-hour labor and delivery with not only no complications but truly a positive experience. I will be recommending Kristen to any pregnant women I know!"
