Meet Madison

BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA

Madison (she/her) is a birth and postpartum doula originally from Chicago, Illinois. She trained with Doula Trainings International as a full-spectrum doula and is currently completing her certification. Her care blends evidence-based knowledge with a deep commitment to helping families feel supported, seen, and confident through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

Madison’s path to doula work began long before she entered the field. With eight years of childcare experience—including five focused on newborns and infants—she became a steady presence for families navigating early parenthood. She often supported parents through feeding challenges, emotional shifts, and periods of uncertainty. Long before she knew the word “doula,” she was already doing the work. Over time, Madison saw a clear and often overlooked gap in the support systems surrounding new parents and felt called to help change that.

As a doula, Madison offers calm, thoughtful, and grounded care. She meets each client with respect and flexibility, creating space for them to feel informed and in control of their experience.

Madison believes that every birthing person deserves to be heard and taken seriously, and she is always ready to speak up in support of her clients when needed. She supports her clients’ choices wholeheartedly, making sure they have the tools, knowledge, and advocacy to navigate each step with confidence. With a blend of warmth and clarity, she provides steady care that helps families feel anchored through unfamiliar territory.

Outside of birth work, Madison enjoys time in nature with her partner and their dog, and she’s often in the kitchen baking something to share. A lifelong creative, she finds joy in pottery, painting, and hands-on projects of all kinds. She’s a deep feeler whose cup is filled by caring for others, and she brings that same wholehearted energy to every family she serves.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with our postpartum doulas, Brayta and Courtney.

The majority of our time was spent with our overnight doula, Brayta. She was a godsend—literally the reason I’ve made it through motherhood. This was our first child, and Brayta helped support me through long nights, frustrating nursing sessions, milk spills, all of it. Her patience and kindness were truly a blessing. She not only supported my journey as a mother but also took wonderful care of our baby.
